Change is inevitable…
You,” said the doctor to the patient, “are in terrible shape. You’ve got to do something about it. First, tell your wife to cook more nutritious meals. Stop working like a dog. Also, inform your wife you’re going to make a budget, and she has to stick to it. And have her keep the kids off your back so you can relax. Unless there are some changes like that in your life, you’ll probably be dead in a month.”
“Doc,” the patient said, “this would sound more official coming from you. Could you please call my wife and give her those instructions?”
When the fellow got home, his wife rushed to him. “I talked to your doctor,” she wailed. “Poor man, you’ve only got thirty days to live.”
Change is inevitable…..Sometimes our lives depend on it….Change by…inspiration (see the light)….or ….perspiration (feel the heat) We get confused to think that our job is to change someone else…My job is to change me….changing me changes what others think about me…feel about me….
Can you spare some change?.....Do you have room for change?.....Change requires a process…..Are you willing to be processed?.....We all too often are limited by what we hold on to! Choosing to Change means you submit yourself to a process of contending for your future….There is more power in intentionality than you can imagine.
Why do we resist change? Because it reduces pressure, because it is the path of least resistance…because it brings relief…..because it feels like resolution…..It doesn’t require anything of me. We are defined for the good or bad by what we hold on to….
Grudges or Forgiveness? Judgmental or Compassionate? Angry or Peacmaker? What does it take for you to change your mind? Some folks get real nervous about change, some thrive on it. Staying healthy in the process of change is the most important intention. When you understand that healthy change is an intentional process, it makes anxiety intersections less important.
Here is a cycle that will help you: Healthy things grow……Growing things Change…..Changing presents Challenges…Challenges cause us to find Trust, Trust produces confidence and intentionality and that helps us grow.
Where are you in this cycle? Can you spare some change?

When we stop and think about the importance of our communication with others and how it affects not only them but ourselves, what crosses your mind? Do you think about your facial expressions? What about your voice or body posture?
